In the Summer of 2017 the DHI's Research and Knowledge Management (RKM) team were commissioned by Skills Development Scotland to investigate and analyse the Digital Health sector and its skills issues with a focus on Scotlands sector.
The RKM team consulted with key stakeholders in the Scottish digital health sector and performed a broad market and skills provision review. The outcome of this work recently culminated with the publishing of the final report, detailing the skills needed by the digital health sector and its imminent and future requirements. Within the report, several recommendations are made, focusing on the need to review existing education and training provision and much more.
