The Digital Health & Care Institute (DHI) are delighted to release another three Scottish Funding Council (SFC) funded MSc studentships in Digital Health and Care for January 2018 intake.
Three scholarships of £7203 are available for eligible students enrolled on digital health related MSc courses in Scotland.
Courses we have previously funded students on include:
- MSc in Digital Health Systems, University of Strathclyde
- MSc in Global eHealth, University of Edinburgh
- MSc in eHealth, University of West of Scotland
- MSc in Primary Care, University of Glasgow
- MRes in Digital Health, Glasgow School of Arts
Our funding criteria expects your dissertation topic to align with one of our the three key themes:
- Wellness services
- Living Well in the Community
- Unscheduled Care Decision Support
How to apply
You should apply for a Masters course with a digital health focus at a Scottish University, such as the listed ones above, or another one with a suitable profile. Please, DO NOT send your application directly to us! The course leaders will submit your application with your preliminary dissertation topic/plan to us by 17th December 2017. Our panel will select the three successful candidates for the studentships, and inform these latest by early January 2018.
It will accelerate your application process to have proof of your eligibility for the funding:
The SFC will only fund new, first-year students, who are UK citizens domiciled in Scotland, or citizens from another EU-country. A three-year residential rule applies to students from the other parts of the UK (Wales, England, Northern Ireland).
Part-time study is an option, but the SFC scholarship is only available for the first year of study.
