I am a Strategic Partnering Director with responsibility for the development of partnerships which enable the commercialisation of digital technologies and services in health and care identified by the DHI as potentially disruptive or having significant market potential.
Prior to undertaking this role I managed my own consultancy business and have worked in the Utility and Energy Sectors with Exxon Mobil and SSE plc. I am a graduate of Strathclyde University, having started my career working on engineering and systems development projects. I have experience working in finance, procurement and contracting; and have a professional qualification in purchasing & supply, quality management and logistics & transportation. I have extensive experience in non-executive directorial roles working with early stage businesses and helped to establish the Scottish and Southern Energy Venture Capital business in 2006.
I'm inspired by the strength of innovation in digital health and care within the Scottish academic and business communities and am delighted to be involved helping to make these ideas become reality.
