My role involves relationship, project and change management across business, health and care sectors. It is about working in partnership with people to understand demand, trends and needs in health and care and then using this information constructively to co-create the innovation required. Technology can often support this process but people and design thinking are integral to ensure successful and sustainable change. In essence, my job entails mobilising and aligning the resources to achieve the shared or collaborative objective.
My varied career in both health and social care has provided me with the opportunity to work across all care groupings. My knowledge of this sector has been gained from operational, strategic and national posts and I remain passionate about using design thinking to inform my practice and to influence effective public service reform.
